Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Investment Science (programme code: 63023)

Upon graduation, students should:

1. Be able to demonstrate mastery of the fundamental knowledge of mathematics and statistics;
2. Be able to apply theoretical knowledge in statistics, finance and investment science to formulate problems mathematically;
3. Be able to develop quantitative skills to compile, organize, interpret, analyze, evaluate and elaborate numerical and financial information;
4. Be able to develop skills appropriate for the presentation of ideas, problem solutions and information having mathematical or other content in various formats of written and oral communication and presentation;
5. Be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills to identify and properly use appropriate models to tackle problems in general and in the world of modern investment and finance;
6. Be able to develop new ideas and generate innovative solutions to problems;
7. Be able to identify, define and formulate problems in a systematic approach to generate workable solutions to problems in general and in investment analysis and management, financial services and related areas;

Be aware of the importance to adhering to the ethical standards of their professions and demonstrate that they are able to present their work with the regard for personal and professional ethics.
