PolyU and Sichuan U jointly set up China's first Institute for Disaster Management
PolyU will, through its partnership with Sichuan University in establishing China's first Training Institute on Disaster Management and Reconstruction, bring in its programmes and expertise to support the reconstruction and sustainable development of Sichuan province. This large-scale project was funded by a sizable donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club. >more
     
   
PolyU MBA Wins Capital CEO Supreme Brand Award
PolyU was presented with the Supreme Brand Award 2010 in recognition of its effective brand development and management regarding the MBA programme. The Supreme Brand Awards presentation ceremony was held on 30 December 2010 by South China Media and the Capital CEO magazine. Winners of the awards were decided by public polling, representatives from the public sector, academia and business as well as the magazine's editorial team. >more
     
   
PolyU to confer University Fellowship on 8 distinguished personalities
PolyU will confer the title of University Fellowship on eight outstanding individuals at a ceremony at the Jockey Club Auditorium on the PolyU campus on 11 January in recognition of their significant contributions to the University and the community.  The fellowship recipients are:
