Monthly Happy Hour Gathering

     


 



 



 

The “Monthly Happy Hour Gathering for PolyU Alumni” has been jointly organized by PolyU's Alumni Affairs and Development Office and the Social Activities Sub-Committee of the Federation for a few years. With the aim to build up a strong network of PolyU graduates from different eras and disciplines, the gatherings are very well-received with an average of 80-100 participants for each gathering.

Starting from January 2007, the monthly happy hour gathering will be re-scheduled to 2nd Wednesday of each month follows:

Speaker: Ms Jennis S K Ho, Registered Social Worker & Instructor of Department of Applied Social Sciences (APSS), PolyU
[Ms Ho is going to introduce the APSS's involvement in the post-earthquake reconstruction work in Sichuan (e.g. the Wellness Enhancement Programme). She will also share with the participants some real stories behind the screen.]




 
 

This monthly gathering aims to provide all graduates a casual and relaxing environment after work, so that you can return to PolyU to share views/experience or simply to have a chat with one another over a drink.  Please kindly note that:

         * This gathering is NOT restricted to any particular discipline as everybody is welcome
            to share and get acquainted with participants from different fields and professions.
            All graduates of PolyU/ HK Polytechnic/ HK Technical College/ Government Trade
            School are cordially invited to join;
          * You can choose to come at whatever time after 6:30 pm and stay as long as you can,
             and may even group together for dinner afterwards; and
          * You can also bring your friends along to share the relaxing atmosphere and the fun
             of networking.

You will receive a stamp card for your first participation. For each participation, you will get a stamp. Accumulating 5 stamps, you can redeem a special gift!
