Governance Structure

A JUCBE Management Board (MB) is established to oversee the management of JUCBE activities; undertake the strategic planning of new JUCBE programs, monitor the synergistic development of JUCBE faculty and facilities, and reviews the progress against the stated outcomes for each stage. The MB is chaired by the Project Leader. Two of the 4 Deans of the participating faculties serve as the Co-Chairs of the MC in Stage-1. The other two Deans will serve as the Co-Chairs in Stage 2 later. The MB also includes the JUCBE Director and Co-Director of each partner university.

Each partner university have a JUCBE Director and Co-Director. They are responsible to implement the JUCBE strategic plans in their university and to direct a Site-Office to provide one-stop support for all students under JUCBE and for facilitating JUCBE activities on each campus. The JUCBE Directors and Co-Directors, together will the Coordinators and Vice-Coordinators of the Focus Areas at each stage, will form the JUCBE Executive Committee (EC). The Project Co-Leader chairs the EC, with the Chair of the MB being an ex-officio EC member.
